Affordable Tiered Storage

A total of seven JBOD expansion units can be added. These highly
flexible expanstion arrays support SAS, SATA, and SSD drives
within a single chassis, allowing you the flexibility to manage
tiered storage within a single system. Dot Hill storage systems
offer an affordable, dynamic, flexible for any sized enterprise.
The 3120 JBOD expansion unit can support an additional 24
drives and the 3130 JBOD expansion unit can support an additional

The 2130 JBOD expansion unit can support an additional 12 drives and easily expands the capacity of a customer's SAN. The 2130 JBOD array is controlled by the RAID controller of the primary unit and allows SAN expansion at a lower cost than a full RAID array.
